Why choose Penwith Dom Care?

Cost effectiveWe offer one to one bespoke care, providing a cost effective caring and responsive solution, delivered in the clients home, promoting positive outcomes in familiar surroundings.

Care teams: we aim to build a small team of carers around every service user, this ensures that your loved one has a small group of familiar faces providing care and support. This is important to all service users, but is crucial to loved ones suffering dementia and other neurological conditions that may effect memory, cause confusion or increase anxiety. Our team model allows our carers to really get to know your loved one, developing a full understanding of their needs whilst building ongoing trust and confidence, both with the service user and their supporting family.

Person centred: All our care packages are person centred. During initial meeting with the service user a care plan will be agreed with the service user and family members where appropriate, during which we aim to find out as much about the client as possible. We don't just focus on their current situation, condition, or what they like for breakfast, but also focus on areas such as hobbies, family history, life passions, in fact any details of their life we can use to stimulate, drive conversation and improve the wellbeing of the individual.

Professional carers: All our carers are hand selected. As a small bespoke company, we have no need for mass recruitment of poor quality staff or sponsorship of poor quality carers, being given visas to meet demand. We believe that promoting industry leading wages, terms and conditions, for our dedicated staff provides our service users with the highest quality care. Every member of our staff is qualified, background checked, fully trained and their to support your loved ones.

Hands on management team: Most days will find our management team out in the community ensuring all our service users are receiving the service that they deserve and supporting the care staff, collecting medications or running errands to free up the carers to care. Every service user receives a minimum of one management visit a month, for a cup of tea and a chat, they have even been known to bring a favourite cake or treat. Management also ensure every client receives a monthly "client satisfaction call" allowing us to address any minor issue before it becomes a problem. Please note: Neither management visits or client satisfaction calls are compulsory for the service user and will be offered and explained at initial care plan consultation.

We are here for you to express those concerns, whether related to our care, there condition or issues with external bodies, for example doctors, nurses or pharmacies, we are here to help and assist you wherever possible. Flexible transparent pricing: Every package is different, and our bespoke approach means that these differences can be catered to for each individual service user, our pricing will be fixed and agreed following our initial consultation, taking into account the variables involved. This process allows fixed weekly costs of care which are collected by direct debit. Any changes to the care package that could vary costs will be discussed with service user / family or stakeholders prior to implementation. We spend a great deal of time building relationships and trust with families and service users alike, we believe that transparency in pricing is crucial in relation to maintaining these relationships throughout the care journey.

Bespoke Care: We are small company of carers dedicated to providing the absolute best care for your loved one, as such we do not have our staff making short in and out care visits.
